My best friend {you can read more about our friendship here} sadly had a miscarriage this week...
This baby would have been a younger brother/sister to her 3 year old son..
I feel her pain, her loss both emotionally and physically, as I too have lost..
And even though I have been through this, when she told me, I didn't know what to say, I felt helpless...
It been hard not to mix my own experience of loss in with trying to be supportive ??
Anyway I am going to see her later ...
What else ? I have a date for my surgery .. This coming Tuesday, feeling a little nervous, but I know I will feel much better afterwards..
I would also be sharing with you my excitement to finally be moving my blog over to Wordpress on Monday!
And how I am planning on spending the weekend getting to know my new home ...
I would need a big hug today..

Sending you big hugs. I miscarried 2 years ago and you're right, it's so hard for people to know what to say and do. Letting them know you are there for them is sometimes all you can do, I suppose. This weekend, I have to paint some shelves for my craft space and reorganize it. Look forward to seeing your new blog launch. Good Luck for Tuesday.

I too have a missing piece of my heart and while many people didnt know what to say to me during the initial days it was the friends that just stayed nearby that were such a balm to my aching soul.
