During the summer holidays, I decorated my girls bedrooms, it was fun decorating to suit each of their tastes and personailitites ...
But what I wanted to show you today was my 5 year olds bedroom ..
I painted one of her walls yellow to compliment her tiny flower wallpaper, but the wall looked really empty..
So after taking advantage of a few afternoon naps it now looks like this ...
It still needs a few more things adding, but I wanted to show you some simple ways to add those finishing touches ..
Ok these cute party hats were a bargain!! From dotcomgiftshop (still in stock, they are actually tree decorations !)
Next up, these cute ice cream cones, which I made following this tutorial, these were really fun to make, all the fabric used came from this shop..
Here's a closer look ..
And lastly a couple of embroidery hoops..
One is just some cute fabric, the other I cut out a bow shap onto pink felt and using my hot glue gun, glued into place ....
I think next on my list, is a quilted wall hanging ??
What projects have you been upto ??
Love
