No sew! Flower headband tutorial

My girls love! Hair accessories and I am always looking for ways to create something for them ..

This no sew flower headband , is fun, easy and quick to make

What you will need !

  • Glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Headband or elastic
  • Felt
  • Fabric - I used a silk fabric you will need about 15 circles approx 2"

So, start by cutting your felt into a circle. Mine was about 3.5" but you can choose to make your flower as big or as small as you would like ..

Set aside..

Now, take your fabric circles...

Fold in half and then in half again ..

Add some hot glue to the bottom, where the folds are.

Glue this to the center of the felt circle.

The flower may open up, once you let go but thats ok !

Repeat with another piece of fabric and glue around the center one..

Keep going until you have filled up the felt circle...

I trimed some of my fabric circles at the end, to help create the circle shape!

Next, cut out a smaller piece of felt.

Flip your flower over and glue the headband to the center, take the smaller piece of felt and then glue that on too, so that it covers the headband..

All that's left to do now is wear it !!

Happy crafting :)

Love
