Hello
Today is time to link this post up with "gussy sews inspiration workshop" :)
I love the monthly link ups, as it gets you thinking "outside the box" , this months prompt is "readers choice" based on inspiration..
So here is my post...
I tend to pull my inspiration from various places, my children, the outdoors, blogs, Pinterest, books, Flickr ....
Want to know what's on my book shelf ??
I am a visual learner, so I tend to look at the pictures rather than read all the instructions....
I love the simpleness of Scandinavian projects, but the cuteness of Kawaii projects.. I try and pull both of my favourite elements together and use them in my projects ...
Something else that inspires me is fabric, yes! I am completely addicted to fabric, most of my fabric is bought from this Etsy shop, our mutual love of fabric has turned into a lovely friendship too :)
Here is my fabric stash .....
Ok, I think I need a sort out hehehehe...
Pinterest is great for not only being inspired but also great for sharing your projects, photos and products to inspire others...
I couldn't leave this post without including these ...
Oh how my heart is full of love for my girls !!
Blogs are a great source of inspiration and friendships, want to know what blogs inspire me ??
Click on the "inspired by" page..
So what about you, where does your inspiration come from ?
I would love to know
Love

Dear Claire, I loved this post!
ReplyDeleteAs a mother I can relate to being inspired by your beautiful girls!
I still get inspired by my son. For example, to organize his room or even ideas for his lunch. He is now going to University (starting in September) so I wonder what kind of lunches he will want or if he will want to eat only at the cafeteria? I also love fabric. I have bought some at garage sales. Check on Craigslist, sometimes people retire and sell their fabrics. I bought also from a seamstress that was retiring.
For inspiration, aside for everything you have mentioned, I also get inspired by magazines. From other blogs, of course. And from a NEED. Right now I NEED more organization in my kitchen counter. This is a place where I put papers and notices and it seems it is always a mess. So I keep my eye out for storage solutions that would fit that particular need.
Thank you for sharing!
Claudine
Adorable girls! My son (plus soon to be daughter) are definitely inspiration to me!
