One of my favourite places of inspiration is "Pinterest" , I can easily get side tracked and spend longer than I intended too, looking at the great projects, tips and ideas...
The thing that I love most about "Pinterest" is it makes the impossible, possible ...
I know that I have learnt so much, found new blogs and created projects that I may never have, if it wasn't for browsing through the pins...
That being said I thought it would be fun to start a weekly Pinterest challenge !!
Each week I am going to post about 3 "pins" that I want to try out, so maybe a recipe, tutorial, home decor project ....
I would love you to join along too, so If you are having ago at a "Pinterest" project please leave me a comment below so i can follow along too!!
My "pins" for this week are ......
Baking
Fast bread in a slow cooker/crock pot .... By Bread in Five..
Sewing project
this drawstring bag is soooo cute, and so many uses, hope to add these to my shop, you can find the tutorial here...
Craft project
Inspired by these beautiful tags, which you can download for free here, to make some lovely tags...
You can find my Pinterest board here ....
Good look with your challenges.....
Pinterest is great for inspiration, I agree! I have a few pins on my to-do list, and I'll make sure I let you know when I do them :)
ReplyDeleteThat drawstring bag tutorial is really lovely - I'm hesitating to do one now as I think she has it pretty much all covered, even if hers are slightly different to mine. I also didn't do a lining for the party bags, since I had so many to make ;) I love her style of doing a tutorial with handwritten signs - I might have to copy that fab idea!
Oooh that would be great, yes keep me posted on your projects...
ReplyDeleteI think you should post your tutorial, it would make a great beginner project, and inspiration for other people wanting to wip a few up ...
You could always make it into a mini series of variations of drawstring bags, tumour next tutorial could include lining ??
Just a thought ..
Totally agree with the handwritten signs :)
Thanks for your encouragement! I am taking you up on it and will post the tutorial (with handwritten signs!) Will let you know when it's ready :)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad :)
ReplyDeleteYes the handwritten signs are a great idea !!
