Happy Thursday friends..
The weekend is almost here yippee !!
You know I love to sew, right ??? Sometimes I wish I had more time to lock myself away in my craft room and sew....
I love how sewing takes me away from other duties and allows me to create...
After seeing cute hexagon projects on pinterest, Flickr and almost everywhere I look I thought I would give them ago..
I ordered some 1 1/4" paper hexagons from this shop..
I used this fabric to make the hexagons...
By my favourite designer ..... Atsuko Matsuyama
I quickly found out that this are addictive ... Hehehe
My favourite thing about making these ?? You and sew them anywhere... And once you get the hang of it they are quick too... Perfect for thoses moments when you want to make something but haven't got hours...
I shared this photo on Instagram, which I am also loving using you can follow me at polkadots1...
Here is my first Hexie flower
And another one just needs one more petal adding ...
Cute right ?
I will be making a few more this afternoon, during nap time ....
So relaxing ...
Let me know if you would like I quick tutorial on making these I would be happy to help
Yes, they are super cute! I love how your hexies are coming along, and the fabric is gorgeous. I cannot wait to try this. I think it will be the perfect project to take with me on holiday - we are going to stay with my in-laws in France soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you, looking forward to turning them into a project !!
ReplyDeleteIdeal, for taking them away, as you only need a small amount of supplies ...
